Video from our May 2008 Meeting - Religion and Politics in an Election Year

I finally have found a better venue for our videos. Vimeo is much more reliable than Youtube from what I have seen so far. Here is the video from our May 2008 Meeting. The sound is really bad at times and it is tough to make out everything the panelists are saying. Sorry about that.

Summer Outing with Matthew Laclair

Matthew LaClair
We had a wonderful outing today with our special guest speaker Matthew LaClair. Matt gave a wonderful recounting of his experiences over the past two years. He taped his American History teacher proselytizing about religion in class and just wanted the teacher to stop. His story highlighted the ignorance of an entire system that is really just missing the point. Kudos to Matt for standing up for what is right and many thanks for his talk today. I regret that I did not tape it, but the wind we had at our picnic would have ruined the audio. I found the videos below which closely match the talk he gave to us.
