Join us on April 13th @ 7:00PM to hear Susan Sackett give a presentation on "Humanism/Freethought in Star Trek -- Did It Boldly Go?" with special emphasis on the Philosophy of Gene Roddenberry and how it changed throughout the original series and Next Generation.
Ms. Sackett served as Gene Roddenberry's personal executive assistant for over 17 years. She also served as his production assistant on the first Star Trek film, worked with him on the five Star Trek movies and served as production associate The Next Generation.... Since 2005, she has been on the Board of Directors of the American Humanist Association.
This meeting is at the UU Church of Worcester. Feel free to show up at the church around 6:30pm if you would like to socialize or help set up. The formal meeting will start at 7pm. The meeting is free and open to the public, but we always welcome donations at the door.
