TOPIC: To belatedly celebrate Darwin Day we will have a special guest speaker, Abigail Hafer, professor of biology from Curry College. She'll be giving a presentation called "Unintelligent Design," which is a methodical debunking of so-called "Intelligent Design" theory.
Generally regarded as the most important philosopher ever to write in English, David Hume (1711-1776) -- the last of the great triumvirate of "British empiricists" -- was also noted as an historian and essayist.
